Vice President of Talent Acquisition

Salary : $180k – $220k + bonus
We are recruiting a Vice President of Talent Acquisition on behalf of a leading provider of Long Term and Elderly Care services. The organisation operate over 50 centers across the US, with a large presence in New England and East Coast regions. They are still growing, organically and through acquisition so this role has evolved as a result of their continued growth and success. The services span : Post-Acute care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Assisted Living and Memory care, Senior Housing and Home health. They have an excellent reputation in the Long Term Care industry, and are well placed to build on that success given their ownership of buildings and ancillary services which support their operations.
The position holder will oversee a team of 10 Recruitment staff, and have ultimate responsibility for driving the organizations recruitment and retention initiatives. The role reports directly into the Chief Human Resources officer and plays a critical role in the success of the organisation. The recruitment team are based at the groups head office in Hartford, Connecticut so the role holder would need to be commutable or relocatable to Connecticut – with relocation package available for the successful applicant.
Role requirements
You would ideally have experience delivering innovate Talent acquisition strategies, to attract front-line healthcare staff, as well as leading executive search and recruitment initiatives.
An ability to lead, serve and motivate a target driven team will be critical to your success in this role.
Ability to design robust recruitment processes which improve candidate experience and rates of ‘hire per candidate in process’.
Prior experience developing and driving candidate attraction strategies, including online content, social media, branding, community level communication, print marketing.
Developing remuneration packages, bonus structures and alternative benefits to drive candidate attraction and long-term retention.
Driving community-based outreach and events to engage with the local talent market.
Contributing towards marketing efforts aimed at reputation building within specific talent markets, to deliver improvements in candidate attraction.
Experience leading recruitment within a Healthcare provider would be advantageous, given the highly specialised nature of this labor market.
You will have a demonstrable track record of leading talent attraction and acquisition across a range of seniority and salary levels, spanning facility-based personnel including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Administrators/ED’s as well as Regional and Senior Executive positions.
You will need to have operated at a senior level within a Talent driven team and be able to show examples of developing and driving new recruitment initiatives.
