Redfish are excited to offer a fantastic Senior/ Principal Engineer opportunity to work with a consultancy that specialises in engineering solutions in the infrastructure sector and has extensive experience in rail and power.

Specialties include

• Lineside services and structures
• Platform extensions
• Station refurbishment
• Depot buildings and structures
• Substation design
• HV cable route design
• Renewables schemes
• Embankment and cutting works

Profile of skills required

• Experience in executing, leading and managing the design of projects within rail/energy/infrastructure sector.
• Relevant experience in a design consultancy.
• Experience of attending design review and constructability meetings with clients including Network Rail, Tier One/Principal Contractors as well as national and local authorities.
• A high level of computer literacy with experience of relevant up-to-date engineering design software.
• Ability to represent the company on site visits/surveys
• Strong health and safety management experience including management and maintenance of CDM Risk Registers.

Ideal Candidate

• Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered
• Experience of effective financial management and control of projects

• Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
• A Masters level degree in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage
