Redbock- an NES Fircroft company Hiring for R&D Engineer at Irvine, CA Full Time

A Medical Device company in Irvine, CA is in immediate need of a R&D Engineer to support a major project for 12 months. Some work can be completed while working remotely, but the consultant will need to be local to the area to be available for onsite design and testing support.

The client needs functional and strategic expertise form a high-level R&D Engineer to develop components for a catheter product. The consultant should have experience designing introducer sheaths and will need to have strong experience designing devices with SolidWorks. The project is focused on the overall objective to commercialize the product, to help the team create a great product design, and to drive down the cost to make it. The project will require advanced technical and creative skills.

Top Requirements:

• BS degree minimum
• Strong expertise in the design of catheters using SolidWorks
• Advanced creative and technical design skills
• Strong expertise in medical device product testing
• Experience coordinating with vendors to source components for medical devices, cost analysis

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
