Job Description

Job Functions

· This is a hands-on management role

• · Supervise and maintain daily operations of network and server infrastructure of 55-60 stations

· Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals

· Manage IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness

• · Evaluate risk, develop network recovery and backup processes

· Assess and purchase new and replacement hardware

· Assure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations

• · Test, troubleshoot and adjust information systems to operate effectively

· Implement security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems

· Create documents and circulate documents to parties/departments that need this information

• · Interface with laymen and technical people

Requirements

• · Network and Server infrastructure – 5 years

· MS Exchange – 5 years

· Experience coordinating installations, upgrades, and maintenance – 5 years

· Ability to identify software needs – 5 years

· Knowledge of architecture processes and performance reports of operating systems

• · Strong critical thinking skills

· Prior government experience preferred

Educational Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science is required
