Red Technologies Hiring for BI Engineer Full Time

About The Role:

Red Technologies is looking for a BI Engineer who is passionate about data, analytics, and business intelligence. Our team believes in the power of information and we work hard to make data available and actionable to our customers, carriers, and our company. As a BI Engineer, it will be your job to design and build our data warehouse, maintain pipelines feeding this warehouse, become an expert on Red Technologies massive data sets, and assist analysts in answering critical business questions. You would be a great fit for our team if you’re a self-starter who is passionate about exploring the intersection of real business problems with huge data sets and finding ways to deliver value to our daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, build, and support Red Technologies’ data warehousing and business intelligence platform (Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI).
• Develop scalable and efficient methods for large scale data analyses and model development and deployment.
• Create and maintain testing procedures for data models and pipelines to ensure data quality across the platform.
• Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation.
• Translate business requirements into actionable visualizations, dashboards, and s.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product owners to understand data needs of functional business units.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R etc.,)
• At least 2-3 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling.
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Power BI a plus
• Familiarity with Databricks a plus
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics a plus
• Logistics experience is a plus
