Red Rock Job Corps Hiring for Driver Instructor (certification required) at Lopez, PA Full Time

This position is located at the Red Rock Job Corps Center, in Lopez PA and it is a residential, year-round campus.

The Job Corps’ mission is to help young people ages 16 thru 24 to improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training aimed at gainful employment and career pathways.

Red Rock Job Corps is currently looking for a Driving Instructor who is ready to be part of a strong team dedicated to assisting young adults towards a path of success in a beautiful location with a team like no other. The Driving Instructor must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.

HOURS: Mondays thru Fridays 7:45 am to 4:45 pm; OFF Saturdays & Sundays

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for teaching safe driving skills to students in accordance with a state-approved curriculum. Conducts behind-the-wheel instruction with students to ensure student safety/compliance with local traffic laws. Plans, prepares, and implements instruction units and administers/scores tests.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Must be certified to teach driving skills in the state. Must possess a valid in-state Driver’s License and meet the Company insurability requirements. Previous driver’s education experience preferred.
