Red Leaf Distribution, LLC Hiring for Bread Route Operator at Claremont, NH Full Time

Red Leaf Distribution, LLC. is looking for an indepedant contractor to distribute Pepperidge Farm Bread within a territory ranging from Claremont, NH to Hillsboro, NH.

We are offering a base pay of $800 a week ($20/hr @ 40 hrs) to run the chain stores, plus a commission structure of 50% of profits for all cash stops, with one account already in place.

The current route is run in about 35-40 hrs per week with the following schedule: Monday/Thursday/Saturday – 4a-1p, Tuesday/Friday – 5:30a-10a, Sunday/Wednesday – Off. This schedule is also able to be tweeked if needed as long as certain criteria are still met, and would be longer if you added more cash stops.

The truck and gas will be provided by the company.

The bread route business is one unlike any other. You will be on the road for a large portion of the day, getting exercise and fresh air instead of being in an office. If you are self-motivated, like early mornings, and enjoy retail or customer service, this is the job for you!

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Load orders from the depot onto the truck every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
• Deliver bread to each store on the route, frequent enough to keep shelves full and maximize sales
• Utilize a tablet and printer to imput orders and print receipts according to store’s needs
• Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner for all stores
• Keep record of time on duty for DOT records
