My well established Client is committed to leveraging technology to drive innovation and are urgently recruiting for an experienced IT Vendor Manager to join their team. The IT Vendor Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with their technology vendors and ensuring the successful delivery of IT goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new IT vendors, ensuring they meet our company’s technology requirements and standards.

Develop and execute vendor management strategies to optimize costs, reduce risks, and enhance overall IT performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (e.g., procurement, cybersecurity, project management) to align vendor activities with technology objectives.

Monitor and assess IT vendor performance, conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Negotiate terms and conditions with IT vendors, including pricing, licensing agreements, and service level agreements.

Manage vendor-related issues and escalations, working closely with internal stakeholders to find effective resolutions.

It would be a distinct advantage for the chosen Candidate to have skills and experience in the following;

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or IT supply chain management.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a deep understanding of IT licensing and procurement processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making, vendor performance metrics, and cost analysis.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced IT environment.

Proficiency in IT management software and tools (e.g., ITSM platforms, procurement systems).
