Red Hot Marketing’s Finance Team is looking for an Accounting and Finance Professional who will accurately and in a timely manner, be responsible for day to day accounting job duties and responsibilities such as sales tax reporting, closing the books for fixed assets, preparing accurate reconciliations, etc.

Who’s the ideal person for this role?

Well if any of the following describes you, then you may be a fit:

*You want a full-time position.

*You have 2-5 years of experience working for a Direct To Consumer or Ecommerce brand.

*You’re an accountant with an ability to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency and keep to deadlines.

*You have excellent analytical and technical skills including knowledge of US GAAP.

*You have Strong Excel Skills: V/H Lookup, Pivots, and other formulas.

*You are an excellent organizer and planner.

*You’re detail oriented and can solve complex problems.

*You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment, with minimal supervision.

*You have 4+ years of relevant experience in roles of increasing responsibility in accounting, audit or tax

*You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or related fields.

*You have ERP System Experience, such as Oracle or NetSuite.

*You have experience with Blackline, Floqast, GL close tools.

*You have experience identifying and driving cost savings, as well as monitoring capitalized software development costs

*You have your CPA Certification

Job Duties Include:

Maintain accuracy of various accruals, including royalties, payroll, shipping, legal and professional fees.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in support of estimates.

Record and reconcile various bank activities, including daily cash activity and debt transactions.

Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.

Prepare monthly account reconciliations and roll forwards.

Assist in the development and improvement of workflows.

Work with AP to ensure timely payments to all vendors.

Work with AR to ensure timely payments from 3rd party partners.

Bookkeeping – making proper and timely categorizations and balancing the books each month.

Preparing financial statements for tax audits and conducting trend analysis for the Executive Team.

Managing Sales Tax operations – filing for tax licenses and monitoring TaxJar filings.

Working with CPA and Tax Team to ensure proper filing of all tax returns

Filing for new corp entities and other needed documents
