Our Sydney specialist social media division is looking for a driven Social Media Manager to join the team at Red Havas. At Red Havas the aim is not just to be good at social media – but rather to be good at business because of social media. The ability to excel at integrating social media as part of the wider marketing mix and deliver smart solutions with social at the heart is our passion and point of difference.

In the Social Media Manager role, you will have the opportunity to work on some of Australia’s most meaningful brands, crafting stories across a range of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. Working with teams across everything from copywriting and content creation through to paid media implementation and ing, we’re looking for an agile social specialist that is excited about getting creative and doing great work with a team that cares.

Specifically, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and passions:

Client service

• Support the account management team in the proactive management of day-to-day client activity
• Develop strong client relationships with day-today client contact and team
• Maintain and update all ongoing client WIP documents, meeting notes and admin tasks across key accounts
• Support the account management team in the creation of project timelines and work to deliver all project requirements to the highest degree of performance and operational excellence
• Support team in the creation of strategic and creative strategy, content plans and s for client

Content, Community and Paid Management

• Development of strategically informed and creative content calendars, including copywriting, across all social media channels
• Contribute to the development of content briefs for content team to ensure content calendar assets are in-line with client expectations
• Contribute to creating high-performing social ideas, that are fit for format/platforms
• Monitoring and community management (across all social platforms), including online issues management
• Content scheduling and publishing
• Implementation and monitoring of paid social activity across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Develop social media performance and listening s
• Influencer/talent liaison, development of strong ongoing partnerships and manage execution with excellence
• Regular consumption and sharing of all key social media news/updates

Skills snapshot

• Strong academic performance, ideally with a degree/ diploma in Marketing. Communications, journalism
• Show a relentless creative desire and passion
• Min 3 years agency experience in a social team. Applicants client side are welcome to apply
• Proficient in paid social implementation including Facebook Business
• Fluency in wide range of social platforms and analytics tools as well as project management & resource booking tools
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Keynote
• Interest in photography preferred as you will be working on a key client within the imaging category
