Scuderia AlphaTauri F1 Team is looking for an experienced and brilliant Software Engineer to join our Aerodynamic Technology team in Bicester. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop software tools across the Aerodynamics department to facilitate and improve the entire aerodynamic development process, including: planning, production, data capture, data analysis and data presentation.

Work within the Aero Systems Group
Working in an agile environment you will participate fully in all team meetings, sharing knowledge with the team and wider department

Take both individual and collective responsibility for the successful operation of the group’s applications
You will be expected to contribute during all phases of software development from requirements collection through maintenance

Debug internally and externally reported issues
Endeavour to maintain optimal performance of applications at all times

Testing and supporting applications managed by the group -
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects -
Improvements to existing applications and development of new ones
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Full stack developer with 5+ years experience
- Essential: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS
- Good understanding of modern software development practices (source control, automated testing)
- Capable of working to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Natural problem solving abilities
- High degree of attention to detail
- Computer Science qualification or similar discipline to degree level
- Fluency in English
- Travel 10%
