We have just picked up a hot new role from our friendly, fun and welcoming client based in Paddock Wood. This company, who are well established market leaders in their industry, are experiencing exciting periods of growth and are looking to add to their team through the addition of a Financial Accountant!

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the purpose of this role is ensure that financial transactions are recorded accurately, on time and in full to meet the requirements of all internal stakeholders by expected deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, the financial accountant will lead the development, deployment, and delivery of effective and efficient period‐end reporting across the company and ensure adequate transactional processing in sales ledger, purchase ledger and cash management through rigorous adherence to financial controls to mitigate risks.

It will be under your remit to take accountability and decision ownership for producing business plans, budgets, and reforecasts for the scoped entities.

You will also be responsible for the reconciliation of inter-company balances, liaising with other finance teams in the group to ensure both entities have recorded the same balance in their financial records.

You will be accountable to review period‐end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that supporting documentation provides full financial transparency.

Salary: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Paddock Wood: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

• accounting: 5 years (preferred)
