In this role, you have the opportunity to – In this role, you will support software development and testing for data storage and transfer systems. You will work closely with highly technical teams composed of systems, hardware, and software engineers to develop and sustain products for the Data Systems Product Line.

You are responsible for:

• Support the development and troubleshooting of embedded software for data storage and transfer systems
• Support generation and release of technical documentation, such as requirement specifications, software verification test plans, reports, and theory of operations
• Develop/modify the software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and interfaces, and improve performance
• Support troubleshooting and failure investigations
• Support software configuration management

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• C/C++ programming in Linux environment. Experience with Linux and kernel development.
• Experience with Linux Multimedia frameworks such as Gstreamer, ALSA, and V4L2 is desired
• Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and FTP desired
• Experience with Xilinx Zynq UltraScale SoC desired
• Experience with Green Hills RTOS desired
• Experience with avionics applications is a plus
• Able to analyze and fix complex software and firmware issues from a system-level viewpoint.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with engineers from other disciplines
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to analyze and solve problems with innovative, creative solutions
• A positive can-do attitude

Base Salary Range: 110K-150K
