Our client comes with 25+ years of experience in all areas of bookkeeping, budgeting, tax planning, and best business and employment practices with a diverse background in restaurants, bars, real estate business of every type, all trades as well as contract business and non-profits. They work closely with CPAs, insurance brokers, and financial investment planners to provide excellent resources and referrals.

Currently, they are looking for a well-rounded bookkeeping professional with significant experience serving various types of clients. You must be familiar with different types of bookkeeping – bars, restaurants, retail, real estate, builders/construction, etc. The best fit for this role must be honest, dependable, tech-savvy, highly organized, and a great multi-tasker!

• Data entry & bank account reconciliations.
• Generating monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements.
• Payroll processing, sales tax payments.
• Processing sales receipts, invoices, and bills.
• General journal entries.
• Communicating regularly with team & clients.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

• QuickBooks proficiency – both Desktop and Online.
• Microsoft Suite proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of accounting.
• Attention to detail, great at multi-tasking – must be able to handle multiple clients.
• Highly organized & self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidentiality (will need to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.)
• Ability to work in a BUSY, FAST-PACED environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Tech-savvy! (will need to work in remote platforms and navigate various types of software/networks.)
• Must reside in the state of Texas.
