We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer to join our Brisbane team. You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the job learning alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects. You will be involved in industrial automation projects from kick-off to hand over, including design documentation, PLC RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on-site commissioning and hand-over documentation.

To Be Successful In This Position You Will

• Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude.
• Have knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems (Desirable).
• Basic understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
• Be highly competent at and technical writing.
• Provide assistance with technical delivery and execution of projects.
• Work within a team environment alongside other junior and senior Engineers.
• Provide project assistance and support to the Project Managers and Support Technicians.
• Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender responses.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines.
• Possess the confidence and ability to liaise with management and internal staff.

Key Requirements

• The applicant should be a recent Electrical or Mechatronic engineer.
• Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
• Australian drivers licence.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.
