Reconstruction Hiring for Tutor Recruiter at Remote Full Time

Start Date: January 2023

Compensation: Starting at $45,000 annually depending on experience

What You’ll Do:
You will be part of the Tutor Team that manages the tutoring side of Reconstruction. The pace will be quick and there will be uncertainty, changes, and unknowns that we have to operate within with a focus on creating and maintaining empowering tutor and customer experiences.

Recruitment and Selection (80% of the time)

Generate approximately 500 applicants for every 100 new hires

Develop and maintain relationships with colleges and universities where we source tutors

Develop and maintain relationships with aligned organizations to assist with tutor sourcing

Maintain up-to-date and accurate job postings on college job boards and on platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed

Work collaboratively on all stages of tutor selection: 1) initial screen, 2) one-way video screen, 3) live mock teaching and 4) onboarding (background checks, reference checks, orientation participation, and payroll set-up).

Data Management and Reporting (15% of the time)

Ensure accurate and timely data that includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Weekly tutor recruitment dashboard

Applicant tracking data

New hire data

Tutor Experience (based on team need and time of year – 5% of the time)

Systematically review data and iterate on tutor management model / respond to needs as they arise

Attend tutor manager open office hours for tutors and then host office hours as needed

Review tutor and student survey data to inform adjustments to recruitment and selection

Review data from high-performing tutors and craft ideal tutor profiles based on this group to inform recruitment and selection

Assist with tutor support as needed (particularly when new tutors begin teaching)
