Due to this strategy a new role has been created for a Financial Analyst to work closely with the senior leadership team and cross functionality with the business to drive growth and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the financial planning & analysis expert, you will partner closely with the senior leadership team to provide insights and recommendations that will drive the commercial ambitions of the group.

Your deep understanding of business drivers, together with strong commercial acumen, relationship building, financial modelling, influencing and communication skills will enable you to speak up and provide a persistent challenge to senior management, enabling business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading, coordinating and preparation of the 5 Year Plan (P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet), quarterly Forecasts and annual Budget;
• Business partner the senior executive leadership team to identify opportunities to increase profitability, competitor advantage, shareholder value and business growth;
• Produce and present management ing packs with insightful analysis and commentaries;
• Trend, competitor and product/customer profitability analysis;
• Weekly dashboard ing of sales and revenue drivers;
• Risk and opportunity analysis;
• Drive continuous process improvement of existing ing tools and processes to improve ing capability;
• Support the executive leadership team on strategic insights and financial modelling of adhoc projects/M&A deals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You are qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar financial analyst/FP&A/Commercial Finance role. You may have solid foundations from a Big 4/mid-tier-chartered firm before progressing into commercial. You possess strong experience working cross functionally with business unit heads to provide insights, with the ability to translate the numbers into improved business results in a non-financial environment. You ideally have some experience within FP&A and have led and owned a full budget and forecast process from end to end. In addition, you will have:

• Strong commercial finance acumen with a proven track record of actively driving commercial agendas across the business.
• Demonstrated success partnering with non-finance stakeholders, ideally in a business with a large volume of categories and products.
• Demonstrated financial modelling experience.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Experience using BI tools Power BI is advantageous.
• Highly developed written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a wide range of key stakeholders.
• Pro-active and customer focused mind set.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
• Superior stakeholder management, including advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
