As a strategic and operational thinker, you will work with the business to provide ongoing insights and recommendations to influence key decisions across manufacturing, production and operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Business partner the operations and manufacturing team to identify opportunities to increase profitability, competitor advantage, shareholder value and business growth;
• Build meaningful relationships to deliver beneficial commercial outcomes to the business, teams and customers;
• Support the FP&A function including insightful and timely ing, variance analysis, production analysis, budgeting, financial modelling and rolling forecasting models;
• Product and manufacturing costing as well as inventory management and control;
• Commercial support for NPD costing, P&L/price planning and cost benefit analysis;
• Risk and opportunity analysis including driving cost savings across the business;
• Support the preparation of month end tasks related to operations and inventory;
• Act as a critical finance lead to the leadership team who will seek your support and guidance on preparing internal s for key business decision making;
• Drive business initiatives across costings, manufacturing, supplier income and rebates, brand penetration, margin improvement and price & mix analysis;
• Provide commercial support to the Business in the review of supplier contract setting including financial analysis and provision of supporting data for relevant approval documents.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You are a qualified CA/CPA. You ideally have at least 3-5 year’s experience in a commercial finance/operations/manufacturing/costing position. Beyond a high performance and outstanding career profile, you have a burning desire for supporting growth through effective business partnering and commercial decision support. You will bring to the role strong knowledge of operations and commercial finance with an understanding of costing/inventory accounting.

The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional and is confident engaging in discussions with senior executives. You will bring a demonstrated track record in driving the performance and accountability of a high volume – high working capital business.

• Commercial finance acumen with a proven track record of actively driving commercial agendas across the business;
• Affinity with business systems, financial processes, product development and distribution of product;
• Experience utilising large ERP systems;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data and identify risks and opportunities;
• Capability to build strong and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
• Highly developed written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a wide range of key stakeholders;
• Pro-active and customer focused mind set;
• Superior stakeholder management, including advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
