RebooTutoring LLC Hiring for Online Tutor – 9 – 12 All Subjects (Must Be Certified Teacher) at Remote Full Time

We are currently looking for experienced certified teachers located within the United States to tutor students online in the following grade levels and subjects:

9 – 12 (English Language Arts 9 – 12, Social Sciences 9 – 12, Math – Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, Science – Biology, Chemistry, Physics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics)

The ideal candidate for this position must be a certified teacher who actively holds a teacher certification in one or more of the grade levels and subjects listed above, with a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in the subject. Tutors will provide online sessions with a computer that has a fast and reliable internet connection. Availability is extremely important in this position. We prefer that you are available 5 PM to 9 PM Monday to Friday (more flexible on Saturday and Sunday). This does not mean that you will tutor all these hours nor need to be waiting around for sessions to come up. You will be notified in advance of sessions, so you can make the proper arrangements and preparation in your schedule.

This is an independent contractor position in which you will be paid for the time you tutor without any benefits (health, dental, vision).

Tutor will be responsible for:

1) Receiving material (notes, homework problems, worksheets, textbooks, etc.) from students if available / May need to provide material to students and assign worksheets

2) Preparing for sessions independently

3) Coordinating and scheduling sessions with students

4) Conducting online sessions

5) Recording videos of online sessions and saving notes as PDF files

6) Emailing videos and PDF notes with a summary to students and parents after each session

7) Following up with progress on students

8) Reporting to the General Manager via email, text, and/or phone calls

Tutor will be required to have the following equipment:

1) Reliable internet connection

2) Working device (computer, laptop, or tablet)

3) Working speakers, microphone, and webcam

4) Writing device such as tablet with pen or pen with tablet
