We’re looking for a Payroll Implementation Project Manager (PM) to manage projects and deliver the desired outcomes effectively and professionally. The PM will initiate the project and do the project planning, monitor the execution, control, and close the project once all the identified and agreed scope of work is implemented and the project is Live.

Your role is incredibly important in helping ReadyTech achieve its goal of building advocacy and delivering world-class customer satisfaction by setting clients and ReadyTech up for successful project implementations.

You Will Get To

• Work closely with clients to manage their needs and expectations
• Build the project plan and allocate resources, ensuring timelines are workable
• End-to-end program management – project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, both in-person and through remote working models as needed
• Project stakeholder management – work closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Customer relationship management – maintain a healthy working relationship without compromising on deliverables and outcomes
• Escalate project issues to the senior management when needed
• Control and report on project activities & risks
• Drive accountability and continual service improvements
• Review implementation practices, perform trend analysis on key operational metrics, ensuring a high focus on end-to-end project delivery
• Report, analyse, and resolve issues related to the implementation, stakeholders, and project operations that may impact service quality
• Ensure that stakeholders’ questions and problems are resolved properly and quickly
• Identify process inefficiencies and compliance issues, and implement strategic solutions;
• Participate actively and collaborate within the Project & Development teams, providing feedback on customer requirements

• You’re proficient at creating schedules and managing your time to ensure projects are on track
• You’re a real problem solver and critical thinker, always thinking outside the box when it comes to solving customers’’ problems
• You have excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills at all levels
• You have an inquisitive and self-starting nature when it comes to learning
• You can think analytically with a good understanding of technical jargon
  

You Have Knowledge In Some Of The Following Areas

• Project management methodologies and project management tools
• How an agile team operates
• Complex software implementation processes
• Understanding of the complex needs of large businesses within the Stand-up economy (e.g., hotels, agriculture, transport, health etc.)
• Desirable: either NZ or Australian payroll processes and compliance (knowing both would be hugely advantageous)
• Desirable: a deep understanding of Time & Attendance (rostering and time capture)
  

Your Experience Looks Like The Following

• More than 3 years in a similar role
• A track record of building effective working relationships with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Management, Development, and Client Service
• Proven project management experience in a formal professional services environment, leading projects on time and on budget
• Desirable: experience working in a large/complex organisation with Payroll and/or HRIS software
