Reading With Raegan Hiring for Part-time Tutor Job at Washington, DC Full Time

Growing tutoring company looking for highly skilled tutors in humanities K-12.

Current contract is looking for in-person Wilson and Orton Gillingham tutors in a school-based setting. Other humanities-based applicants are encouraged to apply for future contract positions.

Tutor is employed by Reading with Raegan, not the school and no other school responsibilities are required.

This is a PART-TIME role paying $50-100/hour

Responsibilities:

– Adhere to set schedules
– Participate in Calendly scheduling system
– Clear, open and respectful communication with parents and teachers
– Diagnostic assessment of students
– Progress monitoring updates to teachers/parents/RWR each session
– Build trusting and respectful relationships with students, families and teachers
– 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 tutoring of K-12 humanities
– Use creative engagement strategies online and in person

Requirements:

-At least 5 years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience in humanities
– Cooperation with background check
– High speed internet connection and working device that facilitates Google Suite

Preferred:
– Master’s degree in Education
-Training in OG or Wilson
– Familiarity with GoogleSuite (Meet, Drive, Gmail, Jamboard, Docs etc)
