Our client is a leading global diagnostics company that has been in the business of providing medical solutions for over 40 years. They are currently working with 147 countries to expand their operations and reaching new international markets.

We are currently looking for a dedicated Software Tester to join this clients Engineering Software Test team. Working as part of a team of Software Testers, you will develop an understanding of how each analyser functions and then create software tests to ensure analysers perform to the high-quality standards required for diagnostic devices

This is a permanent position to join an industry leader in their continuously growing IT team where you will have responsibility for:

• Improve quality, functionality, reliability, and usability of products.
• Provide Software Test review comments on various software lifecycle documents.
• Design, document and execute both manual and automated test scripts as appropriate for the analyser.
• Experience in Unix/Linux and Windows.

To be suitable for the role you must possess the following:

• A higher-level qualification in a computer related discipline.
• Familiarity with at least two of the following programming languages is desirable but not essential: C#, C++, Delphi, VB and Java.
• Experience of using an automated software test tool is desirable but not essential.
• Good knowledge of various testing methodologies: V-Model, Waterfall and Agile.

This post is open to recent graduates and experienced Software Testers and as such, salary is negotiable pending experience.
