Re-Track Personnel Looking for Principal Civil Engineer at IP1, Ipswich, Suffolk Full Time

My client in Matlock Derbyshire is currently in need of a Principal civil/structural engineer due to expansion.

Job Purpose

To lead a team of Structural and/or Civil Engineers and manage structural and/ or civil design projects, ensuring the designs are safe, compliant and economic.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring Asset Information requirements and/or MIDP requirements set out in the Employers Information Requirements and delivered on a BIM project
• Enable reliable information exchange through a common data environment
• Enable integration and co-ordination of information within information model
• Configure information for project outputs
• Assure delivery of information exchanges
• Confirm supplier’s ability to deliver information requirements
• Co-ordinated delivery of all design information
• Manage information development and information approvals
• Confirm Design Deliverables
• Overall Lead for configuration management

It’s essential you have:

• A relevant recognised degree and proven experience in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering. (Chartership with the relevant professional body is desirable, i.e. ICE, IStructE)
• Experience in structural and/ or civil design and experience working in a multi-disciplined environment.
• A comprehensive knowledge of building regulations with an understanding of planning legislation and health and safety
• Effective communication skills across a range of contacts
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• You will be a highly experienced professional with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking

The salary for this position is paying  55k per annum which also includes a very good holiday package with additional benefits on top.
