RDG Global LLC Hiring for Sketch Designer at New York, New York Full Time

RDG Global crosses over a range of different lifestyles: Junior, Girls, Contemporary, Women’s Plus apparel and active.

We are currently seeking a fast and accurate Sketch Artist/Designer to join our team. The Sketch Artist/Designer will work within the CAD team and fill flat sketches of varied categories for Women’s and Juniors. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Partner daily with Cad and print design.
• Sketch from actual garments, or inspiration photos or “revision combinations” of design’s vision and customer requests.
• Must work well with design and sales coordinating high volume workflow from concept designs through production.
• Ability to suggest colorways of novelty in filled sketches.
• Proficient in all Adobe creative programs.
• Experience with sweaters a must, proficient in knitwear, wovens, sleep and outerwear for Missy, Plus, and Junior Sportswear.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Textile/Graphic design or related field.
• Must have 1+ years of experience working as a Fashion Sketch Artist/Designer.
• Proficiency in sketching/illustrating garment silhouettes.
• Proficiency in developing original prints and graphics.
• Expertise regarding print and textile designs, color matching and creating of colorways.
• Excellent color matching skills.
• High proficiency in the latest releases of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong sense of color and composition.
• Demonstrates strong attention to details.
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced work environment.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Must be a team player and react to feedback in a positive way.
• Highly self-motivated and able to see through a creative vision from inception to completion.
