RDG Global LLC Hiring for Sales Assistant at New York City Metropolitan Area Full Time

RDG Global crosses over a range of different lifestyles: Junior, Girls, Contemporary, Women’s Plus apparel and active.

We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our growing sales team. The Sales Assistant will work within the sales team, and the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Duties include but limited to:

• Enter Sales Orders
• Manage Shipping, log orders and alert VP when there is going to be a delay or issue
• Work directly with Tech and Design on product orders, CADS, and all details pertaining to new orders
• Request AD Samples from Production
• Move Orders to production: this requires getting all information from design and TECH in order to forward to the production team. Very detailed list of needs, style numbers, yarns, units, style numbers, CADS
• Make sure all CADs are correct
• Important attention to detail for CAD design, fabric, style numbers
• Follow up and check all Tech packs before submitting
• Proficient in power point and Excel
• Create PowerPoints for accounts
• Log samples in and out as sent to accounts
• Assist VP in the showroom
• Assist VP in managing inventory

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in apparel industry and being part of a sales team.
• Must have a great attitude, work independently as well as part of a team.
• Data entry skills, must be very detail oriented, organized and a problem solver. Must be able to multi-task with the ability to shift based on the daily needs of the business.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
• Must be experienced in Excel & Microsoft office. Will be trained in private label systems such as OnePLM, Klink and internal systems such as VSR.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
