RDG Global LLC Hiring for Color Assistant at New York, New York Full Time

We are currently seeking a Color Assistant to join our Color team. The Color Assistant is responsible for color & product integrity and supports the cross functional teams in evaluating submits to ensure color and quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities/Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Assist color manager with daily workload.
• Communicate color comments /approvals to appropriate business partners once colorist has completely reviewed.
• Work with cross functional teams during the approval process as needed.
• Be able to utilize a light booth for proper color evaluation.
• Ability to enter information and create submits in PLM systems when necessary
• Assist with maintaining an organized library of all submissions
• Assist with reviewing all Pre-Production & Top of Production samples to ensure color & product integrity

Knowledge / Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in apparel or related field
• Superior color vision
• 2+ years of experience in fabric/garment production experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of organizational skills
• Must be detail oriented and be able to follow instructions
• PC Proficient, including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel mastery a plus)
• Ability to work well in a cross functional environment
• Ability to multitask in fast paced and changing priority environment

• Color Certifications – Any retailers, preferably Kohl’s
• Working knowledge of spectrophotometers and color quality control
