RCR Consulting Group Hiring for Logistics Sales and Operations Specialist at Remote Full Time

Greenstreet Logistics is a leading logistics and transportation company specializing in providing sustainable and efficient transportation solutions to our clients. We are seeking a dual-seated resource to join our team serving us in a Sales and Operations capacity. We anticipate your time to be evenly split between the two roles. Join our team to actively seek out and engage customer prospects while ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

Operations

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including intermodal and over the road transportation.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate regularly with customers to keep them informed of shipment status.
• Develop and maintain logistics s and provide data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Sales

• Cold call and establish relationships with new customers – build your book of business from the ground up
• Sell and close new and existing customers to move their freight
• Negotiate price with shippers and carriers
• Manage daily shipments, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status s
• Supply management with s on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through feedback

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations/account management, including intermodal and over the road transportation.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Seeking a candidate with an existing book of business/current customer base

Job Type: Full-time

Base Salary: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year plus commission.

Benefits include: 401k match up to 6%, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave, a stipend to go toward medical insurance or child care.
