The role
Professional Lead for Education: Leadership Programme Negotiable location (travel to UK HQ required moving forward), 28 hours per week, fixed term contract to 31 December 2022 At the Royal College of Nursing we’re an optimistic organisation. As Professional Lead for Education, you will lead on the design and delivery of our Professional Education Offer for nurses and nursing across the UK Health and Social Care sectors. You will work closely with the current leadership module leads and business unit to lead the development the current RCN Leadership offer. You will be a champion for lifelong learning, encouraging our people to engage in creative and contemporary learning opportunities that enable them to fulfil their potential, working across the RCN Education strategy. You’ll work closely with your immediate colleagues in the Nursing Department, Business Unit, and subject matter experts both within and outside of the RCN to understand the need and to design and deliver relevant, high-quality interventions. The role is open fixed term to 31.12.22 and will be offered at 28 hours per week, however those seeking part time hours are encouraged to apply as this will be considered. Secondments will be considered. You will be an accomplished Nurse Leader with a track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating education, learning and development activities, using multi modal approaches for a diverse audience of individuals and groups.
