Customer Service Representative

RBI Division of Mestek Canada, an industry leader in manufacturing boilers and water heaters, is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual with a strong sense of responsibility to join the team as a Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities

• Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
• Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
• Maintains customer records by updating account information.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
• Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Competencies

• Must be fluent in English, both oral and written
• Must have strong communication skills
• Proven customer support experience
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Computer literate. Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn new concepts
• Able to operate with a high sense of diligence and priority for safety
• Must have strong organizational skills and decision-making ability
• Must be able up to lift 50 lbs. on very rare occasions
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior customer service experience (preferred)
• Manufacturing experience (an asset)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
