Job description

We are on the lookout for an inspiring, hard-working individual with a passion for delivering high quality performing arts tuition to teach drama to 4 -18 year olds.

• What do we do? We offer dance, drama and singing classes.
• Who for? Children aged 4 – 18
• When? Every Saturday during term time
• Where? Kettlethorpe High School, Wakefield, WF2 7EL
• Why? We aim to provide children with the opportunity to learn and develop their skills, boost their confidence and create a supportive and safe environment in which they can make new friends and have fun.

The role

What’s required?

• Experience teaching and/or working with children and young people
• A caring nature, an affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude
• A passion for teaching drama to children aged 4 – 18
• Professional training and/or experience
• The ability to also teach either dance or singing would be an advantage
• An aptitude for creating and co-ordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations
• A reliable, punctual, organised and committed team player
• A passion for good customer service
• The ability to have fun!

· Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3-4 per week

Salary: £18.00 per hour
