We are looking for Software Engineers to join our Software Engineering team in El Segundo, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

The Global Spectrum Dominance organization is seeking enthusiastic and highly capable software engineers in programs developing real time embedded software in the Tactical Radar area. The ideal candidate will employ Raytheon software development processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
• Analyze technical problems and provide innovative solutions
• Work effectively and contribute during all phases of the software development life-cycle
• Participate in development efforts of real-time embedded software
• Drive towards meeting technical goals
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders across multiple disciplines and functional areas
• Contribute significantly to team, program and customer meetings and reviews

Required Skills:

• A Bachelors degree in STEM by Spring/Summer 2023
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
• Developing embedded software utilizing C/C++, ADA, and related tools and applications
• Experience Developing and integrating real time embedded software
• Knowledge in the phases of the software development life-cycle
• Knowledge of Software Development Processes
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Hardware / software integration experience
• Knowledge and Experience with Radar Technology and/or GPS Receiver Development
• Experience with developing and integrating software for Radar systems and/or GPS Receiver software
• Experience with Agile and Continuous Integration methodologies
• Able to produce robust, we-documented, production-quality code which includes conforming to design, coding standards, implementing error handling routines, etc.
