Position Title: VP Finance/CFO

We are an accounting and finance consulting company, and our client is searching for a skilled VP Finance to join their growing team. Our client is in the medical industry. The position will report directly to and work closely with company owner as part of the executive team to oversight monthly closings, assess and monitor divisional profitability and be responsible for other special projects during the year. This position will also be responsible for annual tax strategy and interface with a CPA firm, escrow companies and attorneys and may take over Human Resources responsibility. It’s an exciting position for someone who has some understanding of the medical industry and has the desire to learn all about the business.

Job Duties will include
Managing the overall accounting group
Manage banking relationships

Oversight of Month-end closing

Divisional Analysis

Human Resources

The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with medical contractual accounting.
Be able to demonstrate a solid work history and strong skills in the areas of managing multiple general ledgers and reconciling between companies, actively working banking relationships, assessing acquisitions and dispositions.
Have effective communication skills and strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.

Job Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in finance or accounting

10+ years of related experience
Ability to meet tight deadlines, ensure confidentiality
Trustworthy and ethical with strong references
Solid working knowledge, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

Pay: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
