Ravel Hiring for Social Media Specialist at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Full Time

The role in a nutshell 🥜 

This is an opportunity to drive social media for our growing client-base out of our South Brisbane office. You’re responsible for the strategy, creation and deployment of always-on social media management and campaign management across channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest and TikTok.   

A day in the life ☀️ 

You rock up to the South Brisbane office, grab a coffee at café-a-la-Ravel and dive into your to-do list. First stop: Buffer. You’re scrolling and analysing the latest batch of social posts, monitoring engagements and taking note of any learnings along the way. Next up, you’re briefing in design assets for next month’s social calendars, working on captions and coordinating your next video capturing mission with clients. At the end of the day, you log your time- give the office dogs a pat and cheers your team to a job well done.

About you 👋 

• Minimum of 2 years in a social media and/or content creator role  
• Experience shooting video content and working with DLSR and content capturing through iPhone (where relevant) 
• Experience running small budget paid campaigns on Meta 
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills 
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge 
• Positive attitude, accountability and passion for all things social
• Fluency in English 

Your Responsibilities 💻 

• Creating, managing, scheduling, and capturing content for social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter 
• Briefing in relevant content production teams for assets needed, if not creating assets yourself 
• Copy creation for captions, articles, ghost writing, email campaigns and more 
• Social ing and analytics 
• Communicating directly with clients regarding social media strategy, campaigns, execution and presenting findings from s 
• Monitoring and adjusting social media strategies based on testing, data, and insights gained from industry knowledge 
• Staying abreast of social trends, platforms and incorporating these into client’s social media plans where beneficial to the business 
• Working with internal teams to knowledge share on best practices around social media in order to get the best creative and output for clients
