As an IT Consultant – the technical SME – you’ll be genuinely valued. Highly valued. As you set the wheels in motion on what will be a critical phase of the business in an expected engagement term of 4 months.

That’s when you’re actually on-site. While you will be there more in the early days, a fluid approach to hybrid working will have you counting your savings in no time.

Your Role

You’ll supply the Managing Director with your technical expertise as you lead a full-scale technical review of the business, flagging key systems and infrastructure for upgrade, refinement, or migration.

The review will include scoping the migration to a cloud-based ERP, guiding the ongoing setup and development of SharePoint, and all aspects of security – from CCTV and alarms to information and cyber.

But your role isn’t just related to systems and infrastructure. People are a big part of an IT strategy. A part of your role will be the identification of key internal resources for ongoing delivery over the coming years.

This is the technical environment you’ll be entering:

• O365 suite
• Cisco router/networking
• Cloud storage
• 70 users spread across 4 national offices, plus remote workers

The right person could come in many shapes. While we’re looking for 5 days per week, we’re open to 3 or 4 days as well.
