RapidRatings is actively looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, with high energy, positive phone presence, a team player mentality, and is willing to take coaching advice and apply it immediately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Play a key rolein building our sales pipeline to support our growing business. As a member of the outbound sales team, you will coordinate closely with our sales organization to research, prospect and create opportunities for the sales team
• Have influence by making a positive impression on a potential customer, so you will be responsible for starting an experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow up
• Achieve goalsby measuring the number of outreaches, qualified opportunities, and new contacts/companies added to our verified database. This position has a career track to various positions at RapidRatings!

What will you do in the role?

• Use all available channels (email/social media/phone calls/etc.) to identify and contact key decision makers in Fortune 1000 level companies
• Engage with the senior leadership and C suite executives from a variety of industries including, Technology, Finance, Banking, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Retail
• Manage, track, and all data/activities in Salesforce
• Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects
• Collaborate with marketing to support successful outreach campaigns
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events that provide lead generation

To be a good fit for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) opportunity, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role with 1 year of experience in a SDR/Sales role
• Proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with prospects
• Cold calling experience
• CRM experience
• Sales training is a plus
• Proactive and results oriented
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; customer oriented; tactfulness and courtesy
• Ability to be agile in a working environment

• Salary – $55,000-$75,000 base + commission

Note: Our office in NYC is open and continues to operate a hybrid working model (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays). That said, it is important that the person in this role be based in the greater NYC area.
