Rangeview Fabricating Inc Hiring for General Labourer at Stoney Creek, ON Full Time

Warehouse General Labour –Hamilton, ON

Company Overview: As a leader in fabricating and manufacturing, Rangeview has been operating in Hamilton Ontario Canada for over twenty-five years. We specialize in custom and production welding, bending, shearing, punching, notching and rolling.

We are currently in the process of hiring new employees. Candidates must be flexible working in different shop positions if needed.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• General Labour reports to the Shop Supervisor
• Ability to preform repetitive tasks daily
• Prepping steel products for painting using grinder, buffers and solvent wipe clean
• Work in different parts of the shop (prep shop, welding shop, wood shop)
• Ability to repeatedly lift heavy loads
• Experience with hand tools/power tools
• Clean up shop
• Assemble parts for welders
• Prepare products for shipping
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow procedures and processes and company guidelines
• Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Shop Supervisor

Knowledge and Skills:

• Forklift license is an asset
• Experience working with skill saw, drills, table saw, etc.
• Experience with zip grinders and buffers
• WHMIS training

Personal Attributes:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to follow direction
• Able to work unsupervised and with a team

Hours & Pay Rate:

• Monday – Friday – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm – Some Saturdays may be required

Job Type: Temporary – Part Time – 2 -4 Week Placement, Full-Time , Part-time ( All positions)

Salary: $16.00 – 18.00/hour

Expected start date: ASAP
