JOB SUMMARY:

The Jr. Mobile App Developer is responsible for maintenance, development, and implementation of Mobile Applications. This position leads various mobile app projects, provides technical support and guidance with an objective of providing technical solutions and innovative approaches to meet the business requirements.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile applications at scale.
• Work closely with team members and business partners to constantly innovate mobile app functionality and design
• Design and build advanced applications for the Mobile platform
• Implement user interface designs provided by UX team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Work closely with product management to build roadmaps and deliver upon them
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Good knowledge of the Apple and/or Google publishing workflows and store environments
• Experienced in Mobile UI, layout, Networking, Persistency, Performance, Push Notifications, Concurrency, Offline Storage and Security
• Follow DEVOPS methodology and use respective tools.
• Develops, maintains, and updates system design documentation including functional/technical documents, solution architecture documents, data flow diagrams and unit test documents…etc.
• technical, analytical, interpersonal, collaboration, organizational skills and ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to proactively identify innovative solutions to challenging problems and explain complex concepts and risk both simply and accurately to non-technical users.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or closely related discipline, and four years of related field or IT equivalent work experience required.

Technical Competencies Required:

• Experience with Android app development
• JavaScript programming using Angular, Node, and Hybrid App debugging via Safari, Chrome (2-3 years of experience is fine)
• Git submodules
• Knowledge of NPM package publishing and React
• Experience using Cordova, ionic and bash command line tools
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs including plugins.

Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of IT experience, in mobile apps designing, development, testing, and support experience.

– Experience with programming is highly desirable.

– Experience with database systems preferred.

– Experience with software debugging preferred.

– Experience integrating multiple open source software’s/applications is preferred.

– Broad knowledge of SDLC and DEVOPS methodologies
