job summary:
Randstad Technologies is seeking Application Developers for an opening with one of our government services clients. After a 6+ month contract period, this opportunity to become a permanent employee offers an excellent benefit package, including medical, vision and dental insurance, a 403(b) retirement program, and life and disability insurance. This is an onsite position, with an office located near the Nashville Internation Airport.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience- Two years work experience in a technology field with two years experience in required technologies: C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server and SSRS, T-SQL, Visual Studio, PowerShell, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, HTML 5, CSS 3.
Preferred skills include strong familiarity in: Azure navigation, SharePoint/Azure development, Active Directory, Azure-based Microsoft Exchange, FileMaker Pro Server and Scripting, virtualization in VMware or Hyper-V, WordPress, Azure DevOps Version Control.
DUTIES:
Researches problem and enhancement requests to develop efficient and effective modifications to existing solutions.
Designs, tests, implements, and maintains new solutions as approved.
Provides troubleshooting capabilities for multiple solutions across the organization.
Consistently completes assigned development and research tasks by requested completion date.
Performs assigned tasks related to application enhancements and patches as determined by the IT Operations Manager.
Engages in self-directed study and formal training in programming technologies to maintain and advance proficiency.
Ensures appropriate documentation for all development and modifications made to code bases.
Maintains version control of all codebases through Azure DevOps.
Responsible for assisting in the goals and objectives of the grant and any other duties or projects assigned by the IT Operations Manager.
