Our client is seeking an IT Helpdesk, Network and Database Administrator for a permanent opportunity in Roseville, CA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of networking, general IT experience in the real world, computer science degree, CCNA certification, or equivalent life experience are certainly helpful.
• Highly organized.
• Enjoyment working in a small business, customer-focused environment, where efficiency matters.
• – Powerful addiction to good organization, systematic structuring, and readable documentation, so that we can all understand and marvel at your accomplishments.
• Excellent ability to work with techies and non-technical folks when investigating and resolving problems.
• Solid network admin, monitoring, and security skills, keeping the ‘nets running and the people happy.
• Experience configuring and securing access to internal, external, and cloud resources, including working with VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls, to help the good guys get stuff done and to keep the bad guys out.
• Understanding of various networking, communications, and VoIP systems.
• Good understanding of lots of other IT stuff, like hardware and software for multiple OSes.

Job Details

Full time, Monday through Friday, 8-5. Some evening/weekend work when job duties or emergencies require it. Onsite in Roseville, CA, in our main office and warehouses, where 75+ employees work with hundreds of static and thousands of transient devices, and in our server room with dozens of Linux and Windows servers.
