As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and optimize the various aspects of logistics operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

salary : $50,000 – $55,000 per year

work hours : 8 AM – 4 PM

Responsibilities

Coordination of Shipments :

• Arrange and coordinate transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.

Inventory Management :

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to optimize storage space and ensure accurate inventory records.

Documentation and Compliance :

• Prepare and manage shipping documents, ensuring compliance with international and domestic regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and ensure adherence to customs requirements.

Communication and Information Flow :

• Act as a liaison between various departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth communication and information exchange.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of shipments and potential issues.

Problem Resolution :

• Proactively identify potential logistics issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Address any delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments and implement corrective actions.
