Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation arrangements for inbound and outbound shipments.

Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate logistics activities.

Manage inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation requirements.

Resolve issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.

Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Provide support to other departments as needed, such as purchasing and customer service.

Continuously monitor and update stakeholders on the status of shipments.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Implement and utilize logistics software systems to streamline operations.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers and suppliers.

Participate in cross-functional teams to address logistics-related challenges and opportunities.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
