Highly reputable Transportation organization is seeking friendly, teachable, ENTRY LEVEL Logistics Associates to join their operations! This is a Temp to Hire opportunity with a great team environment, inclusive dynamic, and lots of room for career growth.

No Logistics experience required but is a PLUS! Hiring team is willing to train candidates as long as you’re opening to learning, looking for a career path and are reliable! Must be able to work Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm and be able to come to the office daily.

NO work from home potential.

salary : $18.49 – $18.5 per hour

shift : First

work hours : 8 AM – 5 PM

education : High School

Responsibilities

Coordinate all transportation activities / support functions

Customers create inventory / orders, orders flow to synced system with RXO, take orders and create shipment execution plan, executing against a book of carriers (tendering freight)

Tracking shipments, chasing down information, cleaning up data post delivery

Monitor and track pickups and deliveries, and notify customers of any deviation from the run schedule

Answer incoming driver and customer calls / emails, and take care of their needs

Call and get updates from drivers / carriers and input accurate information into the dispatch system

Communicate any issues with customers / drivers

Monitor and update all Active Run problems

Additional responsibilities based on performance / speed

Logistics Coordinator opportunity once converted

Ability to multitask, strong communication, work in team setting, quick learner, able to take direction

Successful candidates : recent grads, drive to learn / teachable, green OR some customer service background – 4H / FFA schooling could be of interest since this location is Agricultural based
