International nonprofit headquartered in Washington, DC, hiring for a Temporary to Hire Finance Assistant to support the VP Controller, Assistant Controller, and Finance team. This will be a hybrid role administratively supporting both the internal Finance team and supporting staff with inquiries related to financials, credit card management, expenses, and reporting. This role requires 70% administrative function and 30% accounting, expenses, reconciliations, and accounts payable. The position will report to a brand new office in Northwest DC in 2023! The salary range upon conversion is $50-55,000 and a candidate must adhere to the vaccination policy. If you are interested in this opportuntiy, please apply!

Responsibilities
Provide direct support to the Assistant Controller, VP Controller, and Finance team.
- Account reconciliations
- Manage credit card program including authorizations, maintenance, deactivations
- Liaison for internal staff related to finance inquiries
- Department point of contact for meetings, events, internal calls, correspondence
- Support staff with processing credit card authorizations and expenses in Concur
- Monitoring and disseminating accounting and finance monthly and weekly reports
- Facilitate all department meetings, issuing notes and action items
