The client is looking for a candidate that is able to review claims for adjudication, adjustment, billing, coding, compliance and reimbursement. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of claim processing or medical billing experience in a managed care environment or physician’s office. salary: $23 – $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Review daily authorization error reports
• Investigate pended claims for authorization, conduct timely review of authorization module and reconcile for claim payment
• Identify and process retrospective authorizations for services not requiring medical review
• Enter notes into TruCare system
• Identify trends and patterns by type of error and provide feedback for staff training purposes and/or system configuration improvement to upper management
• Provide Support with various activities and projects
• Document, track and resolve all authorization issues in a timely manner this includes aged inventory.
