Backed by a team of passionate professionals, this defence organisation is skilled at delivering to tight deadlines in an exciting environment. Randstad are working with them to secure a permanent Subcontracts Project Manager, which would be an excellent opportunity for professional development in a sought after industry and organisation. We are open to candidates with a background in capital projects. You must have Australian citizenship in order to be eligible for a defence clearance. You will be afforded a wealth of flexible working options. Based primarily in Adelaide, this role is also open to residents living in SA, NSW, VIC & QLD.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining a high standard of procurement and subcontract management across defence projects
• Liaising with senior project stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
• Developing and implementing advanced subcontract and complex procurement plans
• Leading key commercial negotiations and ensuring true partnership is achieved with key stakeholders
• Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with external parties

Selection Criteria

• An in depth level of capital projects procurement from any industry such as mining, utilities, oil and gas or similar but not limited to
• You will be an outcome focused professional, passionate about delivering excellence in contemporary procurement and project outcomes
• Be able to successfully work within a fast paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience
