ing directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operational management for the Customer Service team.

We are seeking someone with experience in an operational role as you will be responsible for aligning operational initiatives with the business strategy and implementing improvement strategies to enhance efficiency. This role will require an individual who has strong senior stakeholder skills to ensure a collaborative approach with customer service delivery and to maintain relationships of influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of team members, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Develop and implement improvement strategies in collaboration with the CFO
• Set and monitor KPIs/targets for customer satisfaction, operational processes, and productivity
• Drive a customer-centric approach throughout the customer journey, emphasizing positive sentiment and satisfaction
• Foster a positive and respectful team culture, leading by example and inspiring the team to excel
• Provide coaching and support for staff development
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to customer service delivery
• Act as a point of escalation for team members, offering guidance on managing difficult situations
• Monitor and manage team performance, conducting staff appraisals and maintaining appropriate KPIs
• Investigate and embrace innovations for continuous improvement in strategic direction, technology, risk mitigation, and process simplification.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure optimal outcomes and manage staff numbers appropriately.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in an Operational role with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams within the home improvement, building or trade industry.
• Adept at analysing data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members
• Creative and innovative ideas on how to improve business processes and practices
• Strong business acumen with a strong history of developing and implementing strategies to improve profitability and growth
• Experience in managing service delivery processes
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and lead direct s to achieve targets.
