The purpose of this role is to ensure that Ramsay Australia is able to develop and execute against its business strategy to accelerate delivery of business outcomes and growth. The role is responsible for shaping and running the process that generates the strategy. To achieve this, it will be critical for this role to partner and maintain strong relationships with the Australian Executive Team.

The Opportunity

The role will undertake strategic market and business analyses and opportunity identification for new and emerging initiatives that innovate and grow the business for prioritisation into the Transformation portfolio. The role will partner with the GM – Transformation Office and Finance for developing value tracking strategies and metrics for the transformation portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborating with all levels of management in developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing organisational strategy
• Supporting the business case, identifying and validating sources of value, facilitating strategic plan development and review
• Oversight of cascading objectives and defining key priorities

The role anticipates the future and assesses implications to the current state, leads with influence across the business to ensuring focus on creating value, and drives collaboration and expansive thinking and growth mindset.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic thinker and influencer with commercial acumen performing with consultative leadership and high integrity. You are self-motivated and hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.

Your Skills and Experience:

• 6-7 years experience at top tier consulting firm
• Strategy development and execution
• Market Intelligence and Strategic insights
• Able to identify opportunities for creating unique sources of value that can keep the strategy ahead of external trends and competitors
• Validate and recognize sources of value (financial and non-financial)
• Develop program business case and budget, and support Initiative business cases managing the transformation business case and ensuring focus on creating value
• Ensure the timely and accurate ing against approved metrics for the business transformation
• Review of valuation, gating and progress to benefits realisation
• Identifying and enabling opportunities to improve speed to value for the business transformation
• Develops and maintains integrity of intent of the transformation program
• Facilitates initiative prioritisation, and annual and quarterly planning
• Investor / Market messaging and updates preparation
• Intuitive and able to communicate a synthesised strategy.
