Opportunity

Three years into its inception, the Commercial Business Partnering Team has built a strong reputation across the business for being trusted advisors to the Australian Executive Team. We deliver commercial value through analysis of investment evaluation and operational performance optimisation, to support the execution of our Strategy. The team combines a good balance of skills and experience from both within and outside of Ramsay Healthcare and pride ourselves on being dynamic, constructive and collaborative.

This role supports the Commercial Business Partner – Business Development in their role as business partner to the Chief Business Development Officer, Australia. We are seeking someone who is passionate about using both their technical and strong interpersonal skills to support the Business Development and Operations teams in delivering a significant pipeline of Greenfield and Brownfield developments, key to our continued success of delivering of high value healthcare.

Key responsibilities include project set up, project cost reporting and forecasting, and project accounting. You will also be responsible for identifying and driving process improvement opportunities in conjunction with relevant stakeholders to ensure the processes supporting business development have been set up and configured to best practice principles and meet relevant accounting policies and governance.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Demonstrated ability to perform timely and accurate project accounting (or equivalent)
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to collate and report data from multiple sources accurately and in a timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with and service a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Ability to communicate with influence and drive process improvements
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Applicant should be either qualified with or working towards achieving their CPA/ CA qualifications.
