CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR

Ramsay Clinic Northside (St Leonards NSW) and Ramsay Clinic Cremorne

Permanent Part Time (64 hours per fortnight)

THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our fun and collaborative education teams across two of our clinics. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is passionate about teaching and working across the mental health specialty.

Within this role, you will:

• Work closely with the network Education Coordinator to deliver high quality education to our teams
• Provide support to new staff and graduates
• Work with staff requiring clinical support
• Conduct staff competencies
• Deliver face-to-face education and training

ABOUT YOU – ESSENTIAL

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
• Experience in competency assessing nursing staff
• Proven experience as a preceptor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven to work effectively within a team and independently
• Excellent computer skills
• Demonstrates own commitment to ongoing professional development

Ramsay Clinic Northside offers acute inpatient services, neurostimulation services and a comprehensive range of day programs for people requiring treatment for mood disorders, schizophrenia, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, combat-related PTSD, drug and alcohol detoxification and rehabilitation. Our dedicated Youth and Young Adult Mental Health Service provides inpatient care and day programs to young people aged 14 to 25 years old. Ramsay Clinic Northside is well-equipped to support and care for the mental health needs of Greater Sydney.

Ramsay Clinic Cremorne is a dedicated mental health facility caring for Sydney’s Northern suburbs and the wider community. We offer inpatient care and a comprehensive range of day programs for people requiring treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder.

Requirements
