Summary of the Cash and Remittance Manager

The Cash and Remittance Processing Manager will lead the cash and remittance processingdepartment, oversee the day-to-day cash and remittance processing functions and manage Payment Processors and Remittance Coordinators in functional areas and employee relations

Essential Functions of the Cash and Remittance Manager

• Manage cash and remittance activities including invoicing, payment remittance, cash processing, general ledger activities and month end close of trust accounting books:
• Conduct departmental audits to ensure adherence to processes and procedures
• Manage the reconciliation of client files produced by IT to system generated statements and schedule of client scans. Maintain end of month special client deadline schedules
• Participate in integration of new entities, internal and external audits and on-boarding of new clients
• Ensure internal and external client deliverables are met. Handle escalated client issues. Compile data required for client audits. Review client statement for high profile clients
• Review and approve end of month close outs for all clients, offline invoices, debtor refund requests, disbursements to vendors for legal and agency expenses, balancing of client cash postings to general ledger. Review end of month general ledger package for Financial Accounting
